But all Bethany can remember is being deliberately run off the road. Soon killers are hunting both of them through the unforgiving Idaho wilderness, and the discovery that Bethany’s identity has been erased has them grasping for answers. Now they must avoid treacherous traps and unexpected enemies…while trying to trust each other. But when the truth about Bethany’s past proves even more dangerous than they imagined, can she and Joshua protect innocent lives—and save their own?

About the dog...
I’ve been raising and showing dogs since…well, forever.
I’m even an AKC Junior Showmanship and Great Pyrenees judge. For this story, I wanted a smaller, interesting breed–one that I was very well acquainted with…so meet Izzy, short for Isadora. (Isadora-bull) She’s a Bull Terrier–a breed I’ve owned for over 35 years.
I include dogs in all my stories because they’ve been such a huge part of my own story. My mom and dad were raising dogs ever since I could remember. They started Skeel Kennel, Great Pyrenees in the early 1960s here on our 685 acre ranch in North Idaho. I grew up poop-scooping dog runs and riding horses…so I should add that mom and dad met at the University of Idaho where they were both involved in horses. Dad’s sport in college was intercollegiate rodeo–bareback bronc riding.
The stories I now craft for Love Inspired Suspense brings all the things I grew up with–dogs, often horses, the mountains, law enforcement, and…of course… a tinge of romance to the pages.
