Composite and Forensic Classes Distance Learning

Thirty two years ago, we set out on a unique journey together. We started our business of teaching forensic art by traveling around the US and Canada. As you might imagine, there were numerous challenges ahead. Throughout the many years, the one thing that sustained us was the amazing people who came to learn from us. Our classes have produced countless friendships between our students and with us.

A number of years ago, we realized that we finally had the technology to offer distance courses. After many requests, we started teaching a number of our classes from home to a select few students who could not travel to the training or wanted to save the expense of travel.

The results have exceeded even our very high exceptions from our students.

“I have been a student of Rick and Carrie’s since 2013. In that time, I was lucky enough to take a correspondence class from them which afforded me a much appreciated opportunity to sharpen my drawing skills. The level of professionalism and accommodation by way of this correspondence course is nothing short of Rick and Carrie’s usual excellent instruction. It is always a pleasure, and this was just an added bonus.”-Aaron Williams, CCA, CFA, Tempe PD, Tempe, AZ

“During my Composite Certification process, I was able to complete a portion of my training from the comfort of my home. Stuart Parks Forensics Associates sent materials and was ready/available to answer questions and provide timely instruction, which echoed the quality of the face-to-face experience. As their coursework migrates to a new hybrid online/distance format to meet the challenges of today, rest assured that the strength and veracity of Stuart Parks training remains both rigorous and fully in-tact. I highly endorse completing the course via correspondence! Do not let Covid-19 curb your progress towards certification!” Mallory Prucha, CCA.

“I am a self employed artist and have taken 6 composite/forensic artist classes from Stuart Parks Forensic Associates over the last 5 years. Last summer, I took an on-line remote class (my 5th) from Stuart Parks Forensic Associates which enabled me to sit for the Forensic Artist Certification class in February. Throughout the on-line class, they were very available and accessible for questions and even provided additional photos when I wanted a better resolution than provided in the workbook. They were just as helpful on-line as they are when I take the in-person classes. It is a great option if you can’t travel to one of their classes, I would definitely do it again.” Marcia Sorknes, CCA, CFA.

We are very blessed to be able to offer you this option while things are shut down. We are in the process of rescheduling our California and Wisconsin classes. We have been very pleased that a number of departments and individuals are going to be taking advantage of our correspondence training that were signed up for those locations. The correspondence training has many advantages, especially now. You will have an opportunity to come to a class location later in the year for a day or two to go over you course. If you decide to pay for a different course at one of our class locations later this year, we will still work with you during the week going over your work on the correspondence course. During this difficult time, your participation in our distance training would be a great benefit to us and also for our classes later in the year.

If you have any questions, let us know. We also would love to hear what you think. Input from our students is critical for planning our classes, especially in these uncertain times.

Praying for your health and safety,

Rick & Carrie
