Our crazy schedule is winding down for the year, so I have a moment to get you all caught up with the Parks household.
Probably the biggest news is that I now have a literary agent! Kelly Mortimer of the Mortimer Literary Agency has agreed to take me on to get my novel sold. Ah, you didn't know I was writing a novel? Yep. The Quasimodo Effect. About forensic art (what else?)
We met many new folks this year and made new and lasting friendships. The new courtroom sketching class was boatloads of fun. Our trip to Canada, eh, was a highlight.
We have a new member of the family: a bull terrier pup that Rick as yet to name. He walks around the house with a sheet of paper containing hundreds of names, trying each one out. The breeder calls him Tader and if Rick doesn't get going, I'm going to keep calling the dog that.
A big congrads goes out to Matt Tucker (AKA Spooky Matt), for his taking first prize in an international art competition. Well done and well deserved.
I'll look up some other news to share from all over. For now, well, I need to get going with my day.
